 Valerie Powell, an artist whose work will be featured in the show, feels the time away from school has changed her artistic process. “I'm more focused on my own life now and bringing my one experiences into my pieces, instead of  previously, I just did art to try to get better.  I feel like COVID and taking a look at my own life has helped with that,” said Powell.
