Softball fighting for comeback
With the seasonal sports being held via LiveStream, varsity wrestling warms up before clashing against the McHenry High School Warriors and the Waukegan High School Bulldogs on May 4. Dennis Carcamo shared the mentality he always applies during his matches. “I just have to push through the pain and mentally prepare myself to win because it’s going to be a fight throughout all of those six minutes,” said Carcamo.
Varsity wrestling engages onward
Varsity quarterback Daryl Overstreet prepares to throw a pass against North Chicago in their last home game. The team ended the season with a winning record of 3-2, which hasn’t been done at Central for almost ten years. “I think we've created a fabric of belief of hard work,” said Maloney.

Boys soccer ties for NLCC first place
With seasonal sports being aired via LiveStream, Rams football team seizes up their last possession with less than 30 seconds in the game clock to record their first match against the Sequoits, 28-34 in favor of Sequoits. The Rams fought hard throughout the entire game with high hopes and winning intentions. “We dropped the first two games, but we played pretty well. We're hoping to have a winning season this year as a program and really learn how to be one of the best teams in the conference,” said Overstreet.
