The boys’ Rams soccer team finished the year with what can be characterized as a productive season. With a 12-6-2 overall record and 7-0 in conference, the Rams won the NLCC title as they headed into regionals. In the regional semi-finals they beat Grayslake North 1-0.

“Just play your game and just… relax,” said Assistant Coach Daniel De Paz. While it was a messy and uncoordinated game at first, this halftime speech from Assistant Coach Daniel De Paz really fueled them up.

With this victory, the Rams moved on to the regional semi-finals against Lakes High School where they suffered a tough 2-1 loss to finish their season.

Despite multiple injuries over the last two months, at one point three starters were watching the game from the sidelines while nursing injuries, the Rams were able to have and an outstanding season.

With some of their star players out of the game due to injuries, the team still prevailed with players who had little experience, stepping up to the plate.
