Grayslake Central High School provides a lot of different opportunities and classes to it’s students. However, currently GCHS only allows juniors and seniors to go to Tech Campus. In my opinion, they should provide the opportunity to sophomores, too. Allowing sophomores to go to Tech Campus allows them to start exploring different career paths earlier, which can help them make more informed decisions about their future education and career goals. In addition, students that are interested in cosmetology. Also, from experience, maybe some students need more time to complete their required 1,500 hours. Furthermore, I agree that many seniors would enjoy graduating early during their senior year, but tech campus does not provide early graduation so instead of them having to worry about it in senior or junior year, they can join tech their sophomore year and can have the opportunity to graduate early.
Overall, starting tech campus earlier can provide sophomores with a solid foundation for their future careers and personal development. Allowing sophomores to attend tech campus can have a positive impact on schools too! It can help create a more dynamic and engaging learning environment. When students are excited about what they’re learning, it can boost overall school morale. Plus, it can lead to better academic performance as students find more relevance in their studies.
